Christmas celebration is one the most celebrated festival all over the world, celebrated on the 25th of Dec. It is the season of joy, peace, and happiness.

A special season set aside to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Though this was its original purpose, the celebration of Christmas has grown to become a symbolic time for living in peace and showing love.

It is a cultural festivity that brings families together in a celebratory mood, a time when families come together to eat, drink and relax.

Every Christian loves Christmas because it is full of joy, full of gifts and beautiful Christmas carols are sang all over.

There is no dull moment anywhere during this time, outside on the streets, shops and kiosk, they are well decorated; Christmas trees, bright lights and the likes are seen around.

Here in Nigeria, it is a notable celebration Especially for those from the eastern region as it's a time when they travel to their home towns and unite with their families.

During this season, there is always a tremendous hike in market price and transportation fare; traffic jam as lot of people would be travelling at the same time.

The most interesting thing about this celebration is that in a week's time we would be dancing into a new year which means a new start for most people.

Some countries in which Christmas is certainly not a formal festival include Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, with the exception of Hong Kong and Macau, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, the United Arab Emirates among others. However, with the changing times, even people from these countries have started to celebrate this festival.

So, whether you’re Christian or not, Christmas is an opportunity for you to put your biases and ill thought behind in the celebration of a great cause. Don't miss out in the FUN.

With Lot of Loves From the Entire Team Of Jossay's Blog We wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
