Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has announced his decision to step down from the company board to invest more time in philanthropic activities.
He says he needs to concentrate on worldwide health and advancement, training and handling climate change.
One of the world's most richest men, Bill Gates, has likewise left the leading body of Warren Buffett's enormous holding organization, Berkshire Hathaway.
He stepped down from his day-to-day job running Microsoft in 2008.
Announcing his most recent move, Mr Gates said the organization would "always be an important part of my life’s work” and he would continue to be engaged with its leadership.
