A Chinese restaurant, the Haufei restaurant in Lagos has been closed down after a Nigerian girl called out the restaurant for an alleged racial discrimination. It was also reported that the restaurant have been denying Nigerians of its services.
As indicated by an announcement discharged by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, the move was made against the eatery after a citizen detailed their exercises via social media.
The tweet reads:
Today, FCCPC closed Haufei Restaurant & Mall 33 Aboyade Cole, VI based on credible intel & surveillance that the biz declines service to Nigerians. Staff of the biz admitted this is the policy & our operatives experienced same. Both now closed for further regulatory action.
