Champions League preview; Tottenham vs FK Crvena and all matches on Matchday 3.

Champions League Preview: Tottenham take on FK Crvena and more.

The Champions League finally resumes today after the international break and a week of domestic league football, with plenty of action to come let's take a look at the fixtures.

Shakhtar Donetsk vs GNK Dinamo Zagreb

The two teams have both lost one and won one of their previous two Champions league matches this season with only goal difference separating them. Dinamo are in second just above Shakhtar in third in Group C.

With Dinamo's attack looking prolific and Shakhtar's defence having conceded 4 goals in two champions league matches, this encounter looks promising and should offer some intriguing entertainment and probably some goals.

The match starts at 5:55pm.

Atlético Madrid vs Bayer 04 Leverkusen

Unbeaten in 7 matches in all competitions (DDWDWDD), Atlético sit in second in the Group D table with 4 points after two group stage matches- a draw against Juventus and a win over Lokomotiv Moscow- in the champions league scoring 4 goals and conceding 2.

Bayer Leverkusen are last on the table taking 0 points from two matches, scoring 1 and conceding 5. They are winless, haven't kept a clean sheet and scored only one goal in their last 3 matches in all competitions.
This match should give us some goals if not from both sides at least from Atlético Madrid.

The match starts 5:55pm.

Galatasaray vs Real Madrid.

Both teams are winless in the Champions league this season drawing one and losing one of their two group stage matches.

Real Madrid were on a 5 match unbeaten run in all competitions (WWDDW) before losing to RCD Mallorca in the league 3 days ago. Their performance has been questionable this season with their form going on and off but this is a great chance for them to get back to winning ways and also move up from last position on the group A table.

Currently sitting in third in the champions league group A is Galatasaray with 1 point from 2 matches, 1 goal conceded and no goals scored. Galatasaray have only lost one of their last 9 matches in all competitions (DWWDDDLDW) and it came against PSG in the champions league where they lost 3 nil.
They are sixth in the Turkish Super Lig with 13 points, 9 goals scored and 8 goals conceded so far.

This match should entertain us with some goals and quick counter-attacking football. It will be an interesting encounter especially for Real Madrid fans.

The match starts by 8:00pm.

Olympiacos vs Bayern München.

Bayern München have been in excellent form this season in all competitions trashing Tottenham 2 goals to 7 in the champions league where they sit in first place with 2 wins in 2 matches, 10 goals scored and 2 goals conceded. In the Bundesliga they sit in third with 15 points from 8 matches, 22 goals scored and 10 goals conceded. Bayern have only lost 4 in 18 matches played this season across all competitions.

Olympiacos are in third place on the group B table with 1 point from 2 matches, 3 goals scored and 5 goals conceded. They have also been in great form this season losing only one of 15 matches played across all competitions, scoring 28 goals and conceding 9.

This match will be an interesting one, with both teams having no problems finding the back of the net we are expecting a butt load of goals and some intriguing football.

The match starts by 8:00pm.

Tottenham vs FK Crvena zvezda.

Tottenham are currently out of form winning only two of their last 10 matches in all competitions and losing 5. Since getting trashed by Bayern München they have totally lost it, losing to Brighton and getting a draw against Watford in the EPL. Pochettino is currently on the hot seat and there have been reports of controversy in the dressing room as well.

Fk Crvena are second on the group B table with 3 points from 2 matches, 3 goals scored and 4 goals conceded.

This can be a great chance for Tottenham to get back to winning ways and also ward off critics breathing down their neck. With Pochettino in hot mess can Tottenham find redemption.

Manchester City vs Atalanta.

The Cityzens have been in prolific form this season both in the English Premier League and the Champions League. They have won the two matches played in the group stage with 5 goals scored and none conceded. In the EPL they have been great with 6 wins in 9 matches, 29 goals scored and 9 conceded so far. They should have no problem going into this encounter.

Atalanta haven't been so impressive in the champions league with 0 points from 2 games, 1 goal scored and 6 goals conceded. But the sit in third in the Italian Serie A with 17 points from 8 matches played, 21 goals scored and 13 goals conceded.

Although most teams seem to prefer to defend against the Cityzens, Atalanta would be looking to attack on all fronts, definitely they will be cautious enough not to give Manchester City too much space to do damage but they will be looking to grab at least a point from the Etihad tonight.

Match starts at 8:00pm.

Juventus vs Lokomotiv Moscow.

Lokomotiv Moscow travel to Turin to face the Giants of Italy in an encounter that promises plenty of goals. Lokomotiv haven't been bad with 1 win in 2 matches in Group D, 2 goals scored and 3 goals conceded. In their domestic league they sit in first position with 29 points from 13 matches played, a butt load of goals scored (22) and have conceded half as many goals scored (11).

Juventus lead by arguably the best striker of all time Cristiano Ronaldo will be looking to take all three points in this match and extend their unbeaten run to 11 matches in all competitions. The Old Lady has been impressive in all competitions this season winning 8 matches and 2 matches ending in stalemate.

This match should entertain us with goals from both sides as Ronaldo will be looking to add more goals to his champions league tally.

The match starts by 8:00pm.
