Ajax vs Chelsea. (With lineups)

A match all Chelsea fans have been looking forward to promises some exciting football.

Ajax proved they are a team to be reckoned with after reaching the semi-final of the competition last season with wins over big names like Juventus and Real Madrid before getting eliminated when they lost to Tottenham on away goals. It was a great year for them anyway as they went on to win the Eredivisie with 28 wins from 34 matches.

So far this season, excluding club friendly matches they haven't lost any game in all competitions. The 18/19 champions league semi-finalists have won both of their two group stage matches played so far this season scoring 6 and conceding none, keeping them in number 1 in the group H.

On the other hand, Chelsea have only won one of their two group stage matches losing the other one against Valencia at home. They sit in 2nd on the table.

Since winning the Europa League trophy last season, Chelsea have had a few changes to the team with Eden Hazard and Maurizio Sarri moving on. While some new faces have been introduced - like Frank Lampard as new head coach and some academy players getting a chance at first team football - there is still some doubt as to whether they are at they are at their best form yet despite currently being on a 5 match unbeaten run.

Taking out their first league game loss to Manchester United and the Super Cup loss to Liverpool, Chelsea have only lost 2 matches in 11 played across all competitions (DWDWLLWWWWW) indicating that some improvement has been made.

Chelsea travel to the Johan Crujff Arena in Amsterdam to face Ajax in their third group stage match so far. They sit in second position on the table right behind Ajax with 3 points, 2 goals scored and 2 conceded.

Can Lampard mastermind a win and cause an upset in Amsterdam or will Ajax increase it to three wins in three.

The match starts by 5:55pm.

KRC Genk vs Liverpool.

Liverpool travel to Belgium to face Genk in their third group stage match. They currently sit in third on the group E table with 3 points just above Genk who have only managed to gather 1 point from two matches.
The Reds are in exceptional form this season having lost only two matches in 14 played so far across all competitions with one of those losses coming against Napoli in their first group stage match. Although their champions league campaign kicked off with a few rough patches (nearly losing to Salzburg at Anfield), their domestic league campaign has been excellent with The Reds being the only team in the division to remain unbeaten. So far they sit in first position in the English Premier League leading last season's Champions Manchester City with 6 points in 2nd place.

After the draw against Manchester United in the league last weekend, Liverpool will be looking to get back to winning ways and they will see this fixture as a great way to do that.

This match already looks like it's going to be an exciting one with plenty of goals. With the bookies backing Liverpool to win @ 1.25, let's see what this match holds in store for us.

The match starts by 8:00pm.

Inter Milan vs Borussia Dortmund.

Dortmund currently leads the group with 4 points and will be looking to extend gather more as they travel to the San Siro to face Antonio Conte's team.
Dortmund have not been playing too bad this season with 15 points from 8 matches in the Bundesliga, a win and a draw in the champions league and 24  goals scored across all competitions, they look like can handle whatever is thrown their way in this current state.

Inter have really secured some reinforcement in Lukaku, Sanchez, Conte(head coach) and are looking to challenge in all competitions this season.
Their form this season has been ok, in the Serie A they have only lost 1 game in 8 matches played at that loss came against the Old Lady. In the champions league they haven't won any match unfortunately and currently sit in 3rd place right behind Barcelona in 2nd. With only 2 goals scored and 3 concede in their group stage matches so far, the look to be in some mess but there's still time to recover.

Dortmund will be looking to cause an upset in Milan tonight, but Inter will want to grab the win and take all three points. This encounter should be a good one with maybe not so many goals but intriguingly exciting football at the least.

The match starts by 8:00pm.

Slavia Praha vs Barcelona.

Barcelona undoubtedly missed their key man Lionel Messi earlier this season after he went down with a ham string injury, but now he's back and they have won all the three matches they have played since then scoring 9 goals in total with Messi contributing 2 goals and 1 assist to that number.

This champions league fixture should not be an exception for the Blaugranas as a big win here could take them to the top of the group table and boost their chances of reaching the round of 16.

The match starts by 8:00pm.

Lille OSC vs Valencia.

Both teams occupy the last two spots on the group H table with Valencia in 3rd and Lille in 4th.

Lille OSC are to be visited by Valencia at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy for their third group stage match. Lille led by Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen have been winless in the group so far, scored only one goal and conceded 5 in 2 matches, which is in no way good. Their performance in the Ligue 1 has not been impressive either with them only managing to gather 15 points from 10 matches. After losing to Chelseaat home on their previous champions league fixture they will be looking to take at least a point from this.

Valencia after defeating Chelsea in their first group stage match went on to lose in disappointing fashion to Ajax in their second group match. It can be argued that they could have done better at Amsterdam but Ajax were just too good for them.
Valencia's form has been unsatisfactory as they only won 4 matches from their last 10 (LWLWDDWLWD).

In La Liga they sit in 10th only managing to take away 13 points from 9 matches played.
They have scored as many goals as they have conceded (13).

In the champions league they have only managed to scored 1 goal and have conceded 3 so far.

The match starts by 8:00pm.
