Rashford shines as Chelsea stumble to yet another loss against United.

Rashford's superb free kick sends United into the Quarter-finals.

Chelsea received Manchester United in the fourth round of the EFL Cup at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night and it proved to be an interesting encounter.

Having lost 4-0 to United in the league earlier this season Lampard was looking to right the wrongs and hopefully advance to the Quarter-final of the cup after telling the media that he "won't be taking this match lightly", but Man United had other plans.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer set up his team with a three man defence consisting of Maguire, Rojo, and Lindelof and played a 3-4-1-2 formation with Rashford and James upfront.

United took the lead in the first half from a Rashford penalty after Daniel James was fouled in the box by Marcos Alonso.

Michy Batshuayi equalized for Chelsea in the second half after a marooning run from the midfield beating Maguire and Rojo before slotting it into the bottom right corner past Romero.

However, their moment was short-lived as 12 minutes later Marcus Rashford scored a beautiful free kick smashing the ball into the top corner and giving United back the lead.

Rashford's goals were enough to send United into the Quarter-final of the EFL Cup.
